Hey guys, I was wondering if Arizona State University requires letters of recommendation for their application? If so, how many do they need and from whom should they be?
5 months agoArizona State University (ASU) does not require letters of recommendation as part of their undergraduate admissions process. Their focus is primarily on your academic performance, standardized test scores (if you choose to submit them), and extracurricular activities. However, some specific programs, scholarships, or honors colleges within ASU might request letters of recommendation, so it's essential to double-check those requirements if you're applying to anything more specialized.
Even though ASU may not require letters of recommendation, it's still a good idea to have them ready for other colleges you plan to apply to or in case you need them later for scholarships or other opportunities. In general, it's recommended to get 1-2 letters of recommendation from teachers in your core academic subjects who know you well and can speak to your strengths and work ethic. A third letter could come from a coach, club advisor, employer, or mentor who is familiar with your extracurricular activities, character, and leadership qualities.
